Australia have set a target of 287 runs before India in the second Test being played at Perth.

Resuming on overnight score of 130 for 4, the Aussies were bowled out for 243. Usman Khawaja top scored for the Kangaroos with a fighting 72.

Australia were nine down for 207. Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood added 36 runs in the last wicket.

For India, Mohammed Shami was the pick of the bowlers. He scalped six wickets conceding 56 runs. Jasprit Bumrah took three wickets giving away 39 runs while Ishant Sharma took the other wicket.

India had a terrible start. Opener Lokesh Rahul was sent to pavilion by Starc in the very first over. When reports last came in, India were 1 for the loss of Rahul’s wicket. The Test ends on Tuesday.
