The third edition of the Unified Karate League, 2019, will be held on August 25 at the Ganesh Mandir Indoor Stadium in Khanapara area of Guwahati city in Assam.
The league, which has been organised by Unified Karate Guild for the past two years, serves as a platform for budding karate players to perform to the best of their abilities.

The flagship event will consist of five teams, namely Kaziranga KC, Bhupen Hazarika KC, Majuli KC, Rhino KC and Brahmaputra KC. The owners of these clubs will buy the players at an auction. The winners will be awarded with a cash prize.
Speaking to Inside Northeast the organizing committee's executive member, Amardeep Gogoi , said, "Seven hundred students are associated with the guild; so this league is meant to provide exposure to these students. Guardians of the kids usually buy these teams. This is meant to prepare them for national and international events in the future."
