Harmanpreet Singh scored a hat-trick in the Asian Champions Trophy

Indian hockey star Harmanpreet Singh scored a hat-trick of penalty corner conversion beat South Korea by 4-1 in the Asian Champions Trophy in Muscat on Wednesday.

Harmanpreet opened the scoring in the fifth minute and in the last quarter scored the last two goals to become the third player in the tournament to score a hat-trick while the other two are India's Dilpreet Singh and Pakistan's Aleem Bilal.

Despite of counter strikes by Lee Seung-Il in the 20th minute but Korea could not deliver goal-bearing shots.
