EC orders re poll in six polling stations in Tripura

Guwahati, February 23, 2019:

Technical snag in Electronic Voting Machine leads to the Election Commission ordering re-polling in six polling stations in Tripura.

Re-polling will take place on February 26. The polling stations are 26-Rajghat Uccha Buniyadi Vidyalaya of 22 Sonamura constituency, 08-Telkajla HS School of 23 Dhanpur constituencies, 45-Vivekananda Dwadash Shreni Vidyalaya of 28 Teliamura constituency, 48-Ludhuya High School of 40 Sabroom constituencies, 37-Mandaibari SB School of 41 Ampinagar(ST), 9 Pearachara Tea Estate High School of 54 Kadamtala Kurti constituency.

It may be mentioned that Tripura had gone for voting on February 18 and the poll percentage was recorded at 90 percent.
