The Government Railway Police has recovered six Royal Enfield bikes from Guwahati city of Assam.
While speaking to Inside Northeast, Utpal Das, DSP of Railway Police said that the bikes had been stolen from national capital New Delhi. "The bikes had been stolen in New Delhi -- mostly from South Delhi area -- and had been brought to Guwahati. We found the vehicles at the Railway Parcel office after launching an investigation. A man from Manipur had come to fetch the bikes, but we apprehended him. He has been taken in for interrogation, and we are determining the identity of the suspect."
The authorities also revealed that a total of sixteen Royal Enfield bikes had been recovered. Thirteen were recovered today, while two were recovered yesterday, and one the day before.
