Mango Horchata:  6-Step Recipe

Soak rice – Soak 1 cup white rice with 2 cups water and 1 cinnamon stick for 4+ hours.

Blend – Blend the soaked rice (with water and cinnamon) until smooth.

Strain – Strain through a fine sieve or cheesecloth to get smooth rice milk.

Add mango – Blend in 1–2 ripe mangoes with the rice milk.

Sweeten & flavor – Stir in 2–3 tbsp sugar (or honey) and ½ tsp vanilla extract.

Chill & serve – Add 2 cups milk, mix well, chill, and serve over ice.
