Pineapple Cake  At Home: 7 Steps

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.

Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together 1½ cups all-purpose flour, 1 tsp baking soda, and ½ tsp salt.

Combine wet ingredients: In another bowl, beat ½ cup vegetable oil, 1 cup sugar, 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla extract until smooth.

Add pineapple: Stir in the crushed pineapple with juice into the wet mixture.

Combine mixtures: Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until fully combined.

Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and add pineapple slices in layers. Bake for 30–35 mins.
