7 Assamese NRIs who were present at the Singapore yacht party on the day of Zubeen Garg’s death have traveled from Singapore to Guwahati and given statements to the SIT and CID. A total of 11 people connected to the Singapore event have been summoned for questioning.

The SIT has received the viscera (toxicology) report from the Central Forensic Lab in Delhi. Assam’s Chief Minister stated that the investigation now has a “definite angle” because of these reports, and the SIT is working on presenting its findings to the court.
