AAPSU to join mega protest against Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016

Itanagar, November 19, 2018:

The All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) will take part in the mega protest rally against Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016 which is being organized under the banner of the North East Students’ Organization (NESO).

The team of the AAPSU led by the general secretary Tobom Dai would leave for Guwahati soon.

The NESO has launced a series of Northeast-wide protest from November 20 demanding the withdrawal of Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016, Foreigner (Amendment) Order 2015, Passport (Entry in to India) Notification 2015 and long term visa.

The NESO consists of the All Assam Students’ Union (AASU), Khasi Students’ Union, Naga Students’ Federation, Mizo Zirlai Pawl, Twipra Students’ Federation, All Manipur Students’ Union, Garo Students’ Union and the AAPSU.
