DIMAPUR: The Indian Army chief general MM Naravane arrived in Dimapur, Nagaland yesterday for a two-day visit to assess operational readiness along the Arunachal Pradesh's northern borders and the security situation in the North East's hinterland.

When the Army Chief arrived at Corps Headquarters in Dimapur, he was briefed on the current situation and operational readiness along the Northern borders by Lieutenant General Johnson Mathew, General Officer Commanding Spear Corps, and the Division Commanders.
MM Naravane praised all ranks for their vigilance and urged them to remain vigilant and watch actions along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
