29 July 2018:
Candidates appearing for the prelims of Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Combined Competitive Examination (APPSCCE) hope that the exam this time around will be error-free. It is conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC).
Last year, the APPSC drew criticism from a section of candidates for preparing the exam papers with questions taken from a website. It was learnt there is no committee to look into the preparation of question papers and the job is outsourced. Without divulging much on the preparation of question papers, APPSC Secretary Taru Talo informed that the syllabus and question pattern would remain the same this year, and as such, the students need not have any apprehension.
Over 22,000 candidates are expected to sit for the preliminary exam in 14 centres (district headquarters) and several other sub-centres across the state.
