Arunachal CM celebrates ‘Rakshabandhan’ with school kids

Itanagar (Arunachal Pradesh), Aug 26, 2018:

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu celebrated “Rakshabandhan” with school children from VKV and Donyi Polo Vidya Niketan and members from Brahma Kumaris and Vidya Bharti on Sunday.

According to an official release, the children and other visiting members performed “aarti” on the Chief Minister and tied “Rakhi” on his wrist. Then, they applied kumkum powder on his forehead and offered sweets, the release said.

“The CM blessed them and wished them good, healthy and prosperous life,” the release added.
