Itanagar, September 5, 2019:

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Thursday ordered the concerned Deputy Commissioner to inspect the incident of Chinese incursions as reported in the media.

Pema Khandu said although he has got the reports of incursions by China Army where a wooden bridge was constructed in remote locations of Anjaw district of Arunachal. But confirmation is yet to be made.

Khandu said that Arunachal shares a vast border with China and due to topographical reason and no infrastructure in remote hilly terrains at the international border, small intrusions happen by mistake due to no proper marks.

He added that to check the authenticity of reports of intrusions he cannot confirm but has given instructions to the Deputy Commissioners and Army Chiefs to verify it.

It is to be mentioned that on Wednesday, China, allegedly, has entered inside the Indian territory in Anjaw district of Arunachal Pradesh.

This time the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) has constructed a wooden bridge over Doimru Nallah that comes under the Indian territory.

Lok Sabha MP Tapir Gao, while speaking to Inside Northeast, confirmed the reports of the intrusion. He said that the wooden bridge was constructed by Chinese PLA.

He said that the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) constructed a wooden bridge over Doimru Nallah. He added that the video was recorded by locals.
