The condition of the national Highway-415 that connects the twin-capital in Arunachal Pradesh, Itanagar and Nahurlagun, is in its worst condition due to heavy rainfall as well as the road construction that has been going on.
The people living in the capital complex are facing major problems on a daily basis such as traffic jams, smaller vehicles getting stuck, people being unable to walk due to extremely bad condition of the road, etc.
The roads are under construction, therefore they are full of potholes, which makes the roads somewhat muddy and creates a flood like condition which again leads to the blockade of roads, due to which the public faces severe problems.
Because of the muddy road and frequent landslides that occur in Arunachal, the four way national highway have turned into a 'one way road', where only one side of the roads vehicles can go and the opposite standing vehicles have to wait for that line of vehicle to stop.
These are the reasons that leads to traffic jams and working people are unable to reach their workplace on time.
However, damaged and poor condition of the roads in Arunachal Pradesh is not a new thing as the roads have been in this condition since time immemorial.
In every election, the betterment of roads one of the common agenda of the politicians are the good quality roads but as the election gets over they do not live by their words and promises hence, the condition of the road.
