NAMSAI: Arunachal Pradesh deputy chief minister Chowna Mein has flagged in the edition of 'Honda SunChasers 2021¬- H'ness Quest for the Land of the Rising Sun'. The ride is organised in collaboration with the Arunachal Pradesh Tourism Department.
“Flagged-in 'HondaSunchasers 2021-H’ness Quest for the Land of the RisingSun' signature motorcycle rally @Namsai. I laud the efforts of Tourism dept for organizing the rally to highlight the virgin spots to attract potential tourist & promote tourism in this region in a big way”, Chowna Mein tweeted.
The riders will crisscross the north eastern state for seven days, passing through hills, valleys, and high passes. Vijay Parmar, president of the Himalayan Motorsports Association, and his team will lead the convoy of 11 runners. Riders will also have the opportunity to encounter rugged terrain when riding through picturesque locations such as Bomjir, Hayuliang, Walong, and Namsai.

Jobo Kuruvilla, managing editor of DriveSpark and 11 expert riders, will take part in the trip. The event lasts seven days and stretches through 800 km, with riders saddling up on the brand's newly launched motorcycles.
The Honda SunChasers 2021 ride started on March 9 in Ruksin (East Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh). Yadvinder Singh Guleria, director, sales & marketing, HMSI, and Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly speaker Pasang Dorjee Sona were among those who kicked off the event. Other senior officials from Honda Two-Wheelers India and the state government attended the flag-off ceremony.
