Itanagar: The Arunachal Pradesh Education department has come under fire for its decision to reopen Universities, Colleges, and Polytechnics on January 5 next. The classes have been closed since March of this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
"For the whole academic session we (students) were kept under "dim light" in the name of Online classes,where there was no proper classes hv been witnessed in regular basis (all we hv witnessed in online classes is simple pdf notes in google classroom)," a student said, under condition of anonimity.

"Now, when the session is come to end and the final exam is about to conduct Govt. Is ordering the institution to re-open the same. How is this possible?," he added.
The student further expressed apprehensions over the conduct of the exams under "offline mode" as the students are not prepared for that.
He further added that the current end semester exam (which is about to happen soon) must be postponed.
