ITANAGAR: A massive landslide triggered by heavy rainfall occurred at National Highway 415 near sumo counter in Arunachal capital on Thursday.
Talking to our correspondent, the locals on the spot informed that the land shook initially and then the whole area slid away.
The people complained that the incident happened due to the poor construction of the road.

The people urged the government to take measures before any serious incident takes place in future.
There was no one from the concerned departments at the spot after the time the incident took place, sourced said.
This is the second time this year Itanagar Capital Region has witnessed such a massive landslide destroying the NH415, after the d-sector incident.
