Arunachal Pradesh MLA and Minister Kamlung Mossang has truly set a great example by spreading the message of love across the borders of his own state, Arunachal Pradesh.
The MLA is winning hearts with his generous deed of helping a girl he had never seen, or knew. The girl in question is a a poor little girl from Hawai Pothar, Jagun in Tinsukia district of Assam called Rita Taming, who had been selected to represent India for a Muay-Thai (a Thai martial art) competition to be held in Thailand, but her dream was on the verge of breaking due to her family's weak financial condition.
On learning it, Anuj Rana and Chalak Limbu, two residents of Miao, Arunachal Pradesh, related the story of the girl to Miao MLA Kamlung Mosang. Purely on humanitarian grounds, the generous MLA Mossang extended a financial help of Rs. 50,000 to the talented youngster.
The residents of both Arunachal and Assam were immensely touched by the rare gesture demonstrated by the Minister. The MLA's act of kindness and humanity irrespective of caste, religion and boundaries will perhaps be remembered for years to come.
The Gorkha leaders also thanked Margherita MLA Bhaskar Sharma, AAGSU President Prem Tamang and all organisations and individuals who has come up at this needful juncture to help out the poor little girl to achieve her dream of representing India on the World Stage.
