Lok Sabha MP from Arunachal Pradesh Tapir Gao has urged the Centre to redraw the Atlas of India and do a proper demarcation of boundary of the frontier State. Gao has urged the Government to include Angie Valley of Anini and Drai Valley, Kajab and Kayo valley of Chaglagam area in Anjaw district.

Gao in Lok Sabha said that the Survey of India, which prepared the Atlas during British
rule, has kept out several areas of the state from the national map.
"In Angie Valley, which is located in remote eastern part of Anini district of Arunachal Pradesh, is drawn more than 100 kms inside Chinese territory", Gao said, on the floor of the Lower House.
Gao further stated that just like the Pakistan-occupied portion of Kashmir is being shown under Indian Political map, Angei Valley of Dibang Valley, Kajab valley and Kayo valley of Chaglahgam areas in Anjaw district should also be shown as parts of India.

Gao who is an MP from Arunachal East constituency in Lok Sabha said that in Anjaw district some areas like Kajap and Kayo valley which are under Indian territory, are kept outside the map by the Survey of India. The entire Border out posts in these areas are guarded by the Indian Army and Indo-Tibetan Border Police jawans.
