ARUNACHAL PRADESH: THERE IS A CUNNING AGENDA BEHIND THIS BILL : PPA PRESIDENT KALING JERANG

The People's Party of Arunachal calls for a united fight against citizenship bills again.The Party which also sat in the protest against the controversial bill by AAPSU under the auspices of North East Students’ Organisation (NESO), has called for a united fight against the Centre’s proposed legislation. The following bill seeks to confer Indian citizenship to people from minority communities of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh after six years of residence in India.

While the PPA Secretary Kaling Jerang stated that there is a cunning political agenda behind this bill. Since this bill is political, we should not leave the fight against this bill to only student unions added the Secretary. He also stated that this bill, if passed in the Parliament, will bring desperate times in the future.
