ITANAGAR: As many as 110 people tested positive for COVID-19 in Arunachal Pradesh today, taking the tally in the state to 17,296.
Of the fresh cases, 42 were reported from the Capital Complex Region, while West Kameng recorded 19, Lower Dibang Valley 14, East Siang nine, Namsai and Lower Subansiri seven each, Changlang four, Lohit and Tawang two each, followed by Upper Subansiri, West Siang, Papunpare and Lower Siang one case each.
Barring 24, all the new patients were asymptomatic.

Nine more people were cured of the disease over the past 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries in the state to 16,860.
The state now has 380 active cases, while 56 people have succumbed to the infection so far.
The state has so far tested 4,28,202 samples for COVID-19, including 2741 today.
