ARUNACHAL PRADESH: WASE TEAM SEIZED CANNABIS

In continuation of their fight against drugs, Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL) and other illicit substance menace, the Women Against Social Evils (WASE) unit of Ngopok village under Mebo Sub-division seized Ganja and destroyed them recently.

According to the information received regarding storing of large number of cannabis (ganja) in an abandoned house the WASE team of Ngopok village along with Head gaon burah Maliyang Perme and Gaon burah Tokbom Perme jointly raided the house. During their raid the found huge number of cannabis filled in a bag (basta) and the same was destroyed jointly by team WASE and Gaon Burahs..

Earlier during World Environment Day, the WASE team of Mangnang village under Sille-Oyan circle also conducted a major plantation programme in the village as an initiative to balance the environment which is adversely being affected due to large scale deforestation, as informed, Joya Tasung Moyong, WASE Gen.
