ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh yesterday received a shipment of Covishield vaccines from the central government.
The consignment of the 28,320 Covishield vaccines arrived at the Lilabari Airport in North Lakhimpur, Assam, from where they were transferred to Arunachal Pradesh.

Thanking the centre for supplying the vaccines, state chief minister Pema Khandu took to Twitter and wrote, "Received today 28320 doses of
class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0"> vaccines for Arunachal."Chief minister Pema Khandu said that it's remarkable how prime minister Narendra Modi has turned the tide in India's Covid battle, with minimal vaccination shortages and increased healthcare infrastructure. But let us not let our guard down.
The minister urged everyone to strictly adhere to the COVID guidelines.
