ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh's COVID-19 caseload has climbed up to 20854 with as many as 279 new cases of COVID-19 being reported in the past 24 hours.
The state currently has 2094 cases of infection, while 108 patients have been discharged during the period.
The total number of recoveries stands at 18691.

The COVID-19 recovery rate of the state is now 89.63 percent,
State's positivity rate of 8.37 percent.
Arunachal has reported so far 69 deaths related to the virus, with a 55-year-old ITBP staff from the 9th Btn ITBP Lohitpur, TEZU, Lohit district, died at DCHC, Tezu on May 11.
He had hypertension and hypothyroidism, and he tested positive for COVID-19 via RAT at Sunpura check gate.
Among the total new cases, the Itanagar Capital Complex (ICC) recorded 73 COVID -19 cases followed by Lower Subansiri (35), and Lohit (33), Namsai (24), Papumpare (20), East Siang (19), 16 cases each in Lower Dibang Valley and West Kameng and Changlang (14), Tawang (9), Kurung Kumey (4), Lower Siang (3), two each from West Siang, Tirap, Dibang Valley and Anjaw, and one each from Upper Siang, Pakke Kessang, Kra Daadi, East Kameng, and Upper Subansiri district, respectively.
