Arunachal: Security forces apprehend NSCN (K-YA) cadre

On the 15th August Independence Day Security Forces apprehended one hardcore SS Sgt Major Alem Konyak NSCN(K-YA) faction from Changlang Arunachal Pradesh. The apprehended NSCN(K-YA) belongs to Tizit Village Mon District of Nagaland. SS Sgt Major Alem Konyak joined NSCN(K-YA) in the year 2011 February Month and got training from Chanmao Camp for Six months and for three months at Taga Camp Myanmar.

The apprehended NSCN(K-YA) was involved in massive extortion drive from Changlang area Arunachal Pradesh and on 15th August came to collect extortion money from Linkman/OGW which he was apprehended by the Security forces. From the apprehended NSCN(K-YA) insurgents Security forces recovered Cash amount Rs 5000, 1 Mobile phone, 1 Sim Card,1 Combat dress and 1 Bag from his possession. Later Security forces handed over the apprehended NSCN(K-YA ) insurgents to Changlang Police Station Arunachal Pradesh.
