Arunachal's Namsai Secures 1st rank in Education Amongst the Aspirational Districts in India

Itanagar, June 22, 2019:

In a matter of great pride for the Northeast India, Arunachal's Namsai district has secured the first rank in education amongst the aspirational districts in the entire country!

This was confirmed by Chief Executive Officer Amitabh Kant. He has stated that Namsai has seen incremental progress in February-March 2019 due to concerted efforts of the concerned authorities.

Furthermore, the district has now also become eligible for a grant of Rupees 3 crores.

Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein took to Facebook to congratulate the people of Namsai for this outstanding achievement.

He wrote: "I am glad to announce that Namsai District has secured 1st rank in Education amongst the Aspirational Districts in the country. I congratulate and complement the District Administration & Officers of Education Dept whose tireless efforts have earned them this position. My best wishes to the Namsai Team in all their future endeavors!"

It may be mentioned that the district is an administrative district in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in north-east India.It was carved out of Lohit district in November 2014. The creation of Namsai district was approved by the Arunachal Pradesh government of Nabam Tuki on 21 March 2013.
