ITANAGAR: An encounter between Assam Rifles and the suspected National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN) has broken out in Arunachal Pradesh's Changlang district today.
An Assam Rifles soldier reportedly lost his life in this encounter while two other soldiers have been injured during this encounter in Arunachal.

As reported, the troops have launched an operation along the Indo-Myanmar border this morning at around 8:30 am following a piece of information received from the source and then the violent clash has broken out between the security forces and the militants.
The United Liberation Front of Asom Independent has clarified that they are not involved in this ambush.
