GUWAHATI: Flybig Airlines has inaugurated the direct flight service between Tezu in Arunachal Pradesh’s Lohit district and Guwahati in Assam today.
The services has been launched as part of the Indian government’s UDAN initiative, which aims to improve regional connectivity.
The airlines has started its direct flights service connecting Guwahati with Tezu from today.

The launch fares start from Rs 1199 making it possible for a larger number of people to travel by flight.
ATR 72 aircraft will connect Guwahati- Tezu route on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
Flight S9 201 will leave Guwahati at 8.25hrs and will reach Tezu at 9.35hrs.
Flight S9 221 will depart Tezu at 9.55 hrs for Guwahati.
Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, attended the function virtually.
Ravi Kant, Regional Executive director North Eastern Railway (NER), Airports Authority of India (AAI), state govt officials, airline members and others were also present at the function.
