Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Monday went on a bike ride to promote the state as an attractive destination for tourists.
Sharing a video of his where he can be seen riding a bike solo (with his security detail following behind) on Twitter, Khandu captioned it, "Video of data-query-source="hashtag_click">#motorcycle data-query-source="hashtag_click">#RoadTrip from Yinkiong to Pasighat An attempt towards promoting data-query-source="hashtag_click">#Arunachal as dream destination for data-query-source="hashtag_click">#biking and data-query-source="hashtag_click">#adventure sports!"
Khandu's 122 km motorcycle ride from Yingkiong, headquarters of Upper Siang district, to Pasighat, the headquarters of East Siang district, took place on 13 October, 2019. He began his bike ride from Yingkiong Circuit house at 8 am and reached Pasighat Airport at 10.30 am, two and a half hours later. The route offers that he took gives picturesque views of the Siang Valley and Adi villages.

It may be mentioned here that on November 2018, both Khandu and Rijiju had undertaken a 10 km cycle ride along with Bollywood actor and tourism brand ambassador for Arunachal Pradesh, Salman Khan during the Mechuka Adventure Festival.
