Kiren Rijiju, IPS Robin Hibu included in 'Heroes of Arunachal' book for school students

ITANAGAR: BJP stalwart Kiren Rijiju and IPS officer Robin Hibu are among the handful of personalities selected for the state government's 'Heroes of Arunachal' book, which will be included in the syllabus for students in classes 6 and 7.

"It's emotive nostalgia for me that, my small endeavours through Helping Hands apart from being first IPS from the state and to tiny social works for north east people in distress in cities and youth empowerment has been recognized as role model for younger generations," Hibu said, reacting to the development, before expressing hope that this "tiny endeavour will inspire younger generations."

The book was formally inaugurated by chief minister Pema Khandu on Constitution Day (November 26).
