Maid Poisons 9 Members of a Family, Robs the House in Arunachal

Aalo, August 2, 2019:

As many as nine members of a family were allegedly poisoned by the domestic helper (maid) for the purpose of robbery at Aalo town in West Siang district on Wednesday morning.

The accused identified as Payal (25), allegedly robbed the house of her employer after poisoning the family who was reportedly hired by the family member only weeks ago.

As per official sources, all the nine members of the family were immediately rushed to Dibrugarh in Assam for treatment. However, the condition of the victims is stable.

West Siang district SP Jummar Basar confirmed about the incident and said that the police have been investigating the matter.

Meanwhile, the maid is absconding after the incident.
