Search Operation of missing AN-32 by helicopters has been delayed due to bad weather and rains. low light.

Sources informed Inside Northeast that P8i aircraft of Indian Navy is airborne for a search mission. Nothing has been sighted so far.

It is to be mentioned that four Mi-17 aircrafts of the Indian Air Force (IAF) and three ALH helicopters- two of Indian Army and one of the Indian Air Force (IAF), two Sukhoi-30 MKI, one C-130, and one Army UAV were pressed into service to locate the missing aircraft.

The AN-32 Transporter aircraft of Indian Air Force went missing at Arunachal Pradesh on June 3. The aircraft took off at around 1 pm from Jorhat district in Assam with 13 defence personnel.

Although the Air Force transport plane was expected to land at 1:30 pm at Mechuka in Arunachal Pradesh on June 3, there was no communication with the aircraft for many hours.

According to reports, the missing plane was last seen at the Shi Yomi district.

Around 13 people were reportedly onboard the transporter aircraft.
