Taluk Hili, a 22-year-old Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) exponent hailing from Irgo, a small village under Tato Circle in Shi-Yomi district of Arunachal Pradesh that borders China, has been selected for training at the prestigious Attachai Muaythai Gym in Bangkok, a gateway for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
Hili, a Black Belt 1st Dan in both Kickboxing and Taekwondo, has already participated in a national-level Mixed Martial Arts Open Championship held at Mumbai in 2019 and won a Bronze Medal there.

Talking to the media, Hili has informed that he could study only up until Class XII due to economic problems. "My aged parents tried supporting me by selling vegetables and other agricultural products, but due to financial issues, I had to leave further studies after passing Class XII and joined as porter and carried ration for Indian Army to earn money for my training..."
Taluk Hili completed his Black Belt 1st Dan in Kick-Boxing in 2017 and Black Belt 1st in Taekwondo in 2018 under the training of Aling Pinggam, a former World Champion in Kickboxing. "Now, my dream is to participate and represent India in One Championship and Ultimate Fighting Championship after 6 months Muaythai crush training in Bangkok".

Despite several financial shortages Hili is trying to manage the training at world famous Attachai Muaythai Gym in Bangkok and has appealed all his well-wishers to donate towards the cause.
It is worth mentioning here that THE Attachai Muaythai Gym of Bangkok has produced many famous World Champions in UFC and One Championship, including Arunchal's own Aling Pinggam.
