NSCN hideout busted by security forces in Arunachal Pradesh

CHANGLANG: An NSCN (KYA) hideout was busted in Arunachal Pradesh's Miao Bum area of Reserve forest by the Indian Army unit based in Changlang district on Wednesday.

Teamed up with Miao police, the Indian Army had arrested an NSCN (KY-A) cadre SS Pvt Tesen Kongkang.

Reportedly, the cadre is a resident of Lazu in Tirap.

The cadre revealed the presence of a hideout in Miao Bum during interrogation.

The hideout location was discovered after the security forces took the cadre to Miao Bum.

The forces conducted a thorough search and recovered 1 (one) 9mm Pistol, 5 rounds of ammunition, 3 detonators, 1 pair of Burma combat shoes and a bag.

The hideout was later destroyed by the security forces.
