NSCN (R) operative arrested in Changlang

An National Socialist Council of Nagaland NSCN (R)  operative was arrested in a joint operation by the Changlang police, 9 Assam Rifles and the 149 Bn of the Central Reserve Police Force. The apprehended operative has been identified as self-styled Nankan Hacheng. He was arrested from a hideout in New Shallang area.  

A joint team of security forces apprehended another NSCN (K-YA) private, identified as Johnsam Tikhak from Namgoi.  

In yet another operation by security forces, a self-styled sergeant major of NSCN (R) identified as Alem Konyak was arrested from New Shallang area.  

The police have registered different cases against the arrested operatives at Changlang and Nampong police station.
