Photo of a dashing Kiren Rijiju from college days atop Yamaha RX-100 goes viral

ITANAGAR: The curious case of a young Rijiju! Yesterday, Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju entered the spotlight after a yesteryear pic of the firebrand politician from Arunachal Pradesh surfaced online. The best part about it? He was proudly perched atop a vintage Yamaha RX-100 motorcycle, which has lately garnered a reputation as one of the most kickass vehicles on the streets.

The picture was originally uploaded by the regulating body FMSCI along with the caption, "Our own Honourable Union Minister of Sports Kiren Rijiju is a known motorsports buff. Here he is looking dapper on his RX 100 from his college days. Way to go, Sir!"

Needless to say, netizens have gone ga-ga over Rijiju's dapper look from his college days, with praises being heaped for his choice of vehicle as well as hairstyle. The "Hollywood look" Rijiju has now gone viral and the original pic has been 'liked' on Facebook more than 1,000 times. Over 300 people shared the picture on Facebook. Truly astounding, isn't it?

"The slogan for Yamaha RX-100....YOU MEET THE CROWD NOW MEET THE LEADER.....So true in your case sir..... God bless you for the wonderful work you are doing....", wrote one user, while another said, "a legendary man with a legendary bike."

Soon, Rijiju himself shared the picture through his own profiles and again received admiration from his supporters. Not too surprisingly, the Yamaha RX-100 bike received as much attention as its owner.
