GUWAHATI: Robin Hibu, the first IPS officer from Arunachal Pradesh, finally broke free from the horrors of the COVID-19 pandemic in New Delhi where he sang classic songs to his heart's contest at an intimate gathering.
Hibu apparently had a musical evening with at the Taurus hotel in New Delhi's Aerocity where he "blared out my deeply entrenched volcanic pang of hallucinated pains all around me in this pandemic."
Robin Hibu says that he refreshed with pals, with his favorite hits of yestaryears' mellifluous songs .
"Music is the language of Angels. It does refresh you, energize you, give you hope , to raise again, to go on amidst these inevitable valley of life of joy, sorrow. To go on. To dream. For better tomorrow,' he wrote.

Robin Hibu, who has been integral in providing support to Northeast Indians stuck in New Delhi amid the pandemic, said, "Recalling the 2 years without a single day leave. Rendering all I can in the services of my nation. In particular to hapless NE folks during most traumatic time of my life in this pandemic as 98 fellow Delhi police personnels died. 24 bossoms friends left for heavenly abode after unwitting painful dying."
"Still lingering in my heart the choking last tele mobile voice call of late Swashant Srivastava of Akash Institute, Dr Rana, SK Singh IPS, two of young jawans from my office all gone forever," he added.
Robin Hibu added that he is still haunted by painful SOS cries from hapless and helpless north east people in Delhi NCR and other cities for oxygen, hospital beds, burials, cremations, rations, delivery for medicines.
"Young NE youth (Khasi youth of Agra, Chandigarh Naga youth, Mukherjee Nagar Manipur youth) sent farewell last messages to me at midnight before committing suicides," he said.
Hibu said that he finally wanted to break free from cruel real world and celebrate being alive.
With no fresh fatalities, the death count due to the coronavirus infection stood at 25,082 on Tuesday in Delhi. The case fatality rate is 1.74 per cent.
The second wave of the pandemic swept through the city in April-May.
