PASIGHAT: The Siang district deputy commissioner has issued a travel advisory to commuters to control traffic during the period from March 19 to April 30, 2021 to facilitate smooth and hassle-free execution of the Potin-Pangin Trans-Arunachal Highway construction work from Pangin (Sangam tri-junction) to Gabung stream (Korong).

Traffic will be open from 6 am to 9 am and closed from 9 am to 2 pm (shift-1), and then open from 2 pm to 6 pm and closed from 6 pm to 6 am (shift-2).
The Siang DC issued the travel advisory at the request of M/s SRK Construction and Projects Private Limited, Hyderabad, which is carrying out the TAH Package-IX, and the travel advisory will be in force from March 19 to April 30, 2021, according to Sanju Taloh of Pangin, who is in charge of the construction project management.
“General commuters from Siang, West Siang, Shi-Yomi, Upper Siang and East Siang districts who use this stretch of Sangam tri-junction to Aalo Road are requested to obey the travel advisory for the timely and smooth construction of the Potin-Pangin Trans-Arunachal Highway between Pangin and Aalo, which has been in dilapidated condition for several years,” added Sanju Taloh.
