Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the aim of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is to make Arunachal Pradesh and North East as the gateway of East Asia. He added, “Vote bank is everything for the Congress party. The party has not given any place to North East in their heart and in New Delhi.
Addressing the gathering at Pasighat Stadium in Arunachal Pradesh, Narendra Modi said, “After seven decades, the villages of Arunachal Pradesh have received electricity. A family has ruled the country for 70 years but cannot claim to have done all the developmental works. I have just completed five years of governance and did maximum developmental. I stick by my commitments and try to complete it anyhow.”
Modi further added, “I have been able to successfully build the roads, National Highways, Airports, etc with all the support of the people of Arunachal. I came here last in 2014 where there were paddy fields all over and now a stadium has been built here. Now, the football legends will be born in this land. I can claim that Arunachal has smart cities.”
