Around 1000 students join 300-foot national flag rally in Arunachal’s Itanagar under 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign

A 300-foot-long national flag rally was organised in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, as part of the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, drawing the participation of around 1,000 school students, security personnel, government officials and members of the public.

The approximately 91-metre-long tricolour was carried through the streets of the capital during a foot march aimed at promoting public participation in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and fostering a sense of national unity.

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister, Home Minister and other political leaders participated in the rally along with personnel from the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), besides government officials and local residents.

The organisers said the 300-foot National Flag was brought from New Delhi for the event. The rally was described as the longest National Flag rally organised in the Northeast region.

The participation of students and personnel from various sections of society marked the event as one of the major public activities held in Arunachal Pradesh under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
