Arunachal Assembly hosts seminar on 'One Nation, One Election'

The Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly hosted a seminar on ‘One Nation, One Election’, bringing together leaders from all political parties to discuss this significant electoral reform.

 

The event saw the participation of Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, cabinet ministers, and MLAs of Arunachal Pradesh. Eminent speakers, including Anil K. Antony, National Secretary of BJP, and K. Pratap Singh, Associate Professor at Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU), led thought-provoking discussions on the potential impact of synchronized elections in India.

 

During the seminar, Chief Minister highlighted the benefits of the One Nation, One Election initiative, emphasizing that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the reform aims to enhance administrative efficiency, minimize electoral disruptions, and ensure stable governance.

 

Calling for unified support across party lines, the CM stressed that this reform is in the larger interest of the nation, urging all political stakeholders to back the initiative wholeheartedly.
