Arunachal BJP reviews party organisation and worker responsibilities at extended meet

The Arunachal Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held its extended State Executive Meeting in Itanagar on Tuesday, September 22 bringing together senior party leaders, ministers, MLAs and organisational functionaries to review the party’s organisational activities and deliberate on priorities for strengthening its grassroots network.

The meeting was held at the D.K. Convention Hall and was attended by Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, BJP state president Kaling Moyong, Union ministers Kiren Rijiju and Kirti Vardhan Singh, Rajya Sabha MP Tai Tagak and several state ministers and MLAs. BJP Northeast Coordinator Sambit Patra also addressed the meeting.

The deliberations focused on strengthening the party organisation at the grassroots level, improving coordination among different organisational units and reviewing ongoing programmes and responsibilities assigned to party workers across the state.

Party spokespersons and MLAs briefed the media on the resolutions adopted during the extended executive meeting.

The meeting brought together district presidents, party office-bearers, Morcha leaders, Mandal presidents, district in-charges and other organisational functionaries from across Arunachal Pradesh. The participation of functionaries at different organisational levels was aimed at reviewing activities and ensuring coordination in the implementation of party programmes.

Senior leaders also interacted with party workers and discussed organisational priorities for the coming period. The meeting comes amid a series of organisational programmes being undertaken by the BJP in the state to strengthen coordination between its state, district and grassroots units.
