Senior BJP leaders gathered in Itanagar to showcase the party's developmental track record during an event focused on the government's 11-year tenure at the national level and nine years of state governance under Chief Minister Pema Khandu.
Union Minister for Parliamentary and Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju addressed party workers and officials at the DK Convention Hall, emphasising the transformation witnessed across Arunachal Pradesh and the broader Northeast region. The seminar, organised by the state BJP unit, brought together Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, state ministers, MLAs, and party workers from across the state.
The event centred on the theme of development and governance achievements, with Rijiju outlining progress made across multiple sectors during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's administration. State President Kaling Moyong chaired the proceedings, which included detailed presentations on infrastructure growth, educational reforms, and healthcare improvements.
Minister Dasanglu Pul, who heads the Women and Child Development department, highlighted government initiatives aimed at women's empowerment. She pointed to policy changes that have created new opportunities for women across the country, citing measurable improvements in their socio-economic status.
