Chief Minister Pema Khandu inaugurated one of the largest church buildings in Arunachal Pradesh, the Itanagar Town Baptist Church, on Monday, urging believers to incorporate the principles of the Bible into their daily lives.
The dedication ceremony, held under the aegis of the Itanagar Pastoral Range of the Nyishi Baptist Church Council (NBCC), was led by NBCC General Secretary Rev. Dr. Tagang Gelo as the Dedication Minister. The event saw participation from prominent leaders, including MLAs Wanglin Lowangdong, Techi Kaso, Laisam Simai, and Nikh Kamin.
Congratulating the Christian community, CM Khandu highlighted the church as a beacon of faith and a vital center for prayer, community, and social rituals. He expressed hope that it would continue to inspire spiritual growth and unity in the state.
