Arunachal : Itanagar District Capital administration carries out eviction drive along NH-415

Itanagar District Capital administration led by ADC on Janaury 29 conducted an eviction drive on NH-415 near Nirvachan Bhawan of Itanagar.

While, briefing the media the officer in charge informed that under the Notice issued by Itanagar DC to clear the obstruction 20-meter stretch from the highway, today's eviction has been carried out. 

Hundreds of police personals were deployed during the eviction process to prevent any untoward violent incidents and to maintain law and order. 
ADC cum Chief estate Officer Jiken Bomjen talking to media stated that this eviction drive was done to clear the nuisance and illegal structures along the national highway, despite the notice given and hearing of their cases the illegal occupants were reluctant to vacate the land which belongs to highway authority. 

The officer incharge further informed that the eviction drive is legal and has been carried out with due procedure .
