Arunachal leaders pay tribute to Zubeen Garg's enduring musical legacy

Arunachal Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein joined Minister of Cultural Affairs Dasanglu Pul at a memorial programme for legendary singer Zubeen Garg held at Naharlagun on October 19, where members of the artistic community and fans gathered to honour the musician's profound impact on northeastern India.

 

The event highlighted how Garg's contributions extended far beyond entertainment, serving as a cultural bridge that united diverse communities across the region. His songs became anthems of regional identity, resonating with audiences throughout Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, and neighbouring states.

 

Minister for Women and Child Development Dasanglu Pul emphasised the emotional depth of Garg's work during her address. She described his music as a powerful force that instilled hope and pride while fostering a collective sense of belonging among millions.

 

According to Pul, the artiste's influence will endure through generations, carried forward by those he inspired.
