Arunachal Lok Sabha election 2024: Kiren Rijiju, Pema Khandu lead vibrant BJP campaign in Aalo

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, accompanied by Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, led a vibrant campaign for three BJP candidates in a grand rally held at Aalo, the headquarters town of West Siang district. The event, marked by enthusiastic participation, aimed to rally support for the BJP candidates ahead of the upcoming elections.

Rijiju, who serves as the Union Minister for Earth Sciences and also holds the food processing portfolio, emphasized the importance of voting for the BJP candidates. He particularly highlighted the significance of supporting the local MP candidate, himself, from the Arunachal West Parliamentary constituency. The three BJP MLA candidates from West Siang district—Kento Jini from Aalo East, Topin Ete from Aalo West, and Nyamar Karbak from Liromoba Assembly constituency—were the focal points of the campaign.

Addressing the gathering, Rijiju urged voters to cast their ballots in favor of the BJP, cautioning that wasting votes would be akin to throwing them into the Yomgo river in Aalo. He underscored the need for promoting organic farming and outlined plans by his food processing ministry to boost agriculture and horticulture products from West Siang and Arunachal as a whole.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu echoed Rijiju's sentiments, expressing confidence in the BJP's prospects for securing a record number of seats in the upcoming elections.

CM Khandu speaking to India Today NE, stated that BJP will create a record in winning maximum seats this time and he urged all citizens to support and elect BJP party for better development.

"In the reign of Rajnath Singh as the defence minister of India, Arunachal has seen multiple developmental works", says Pema Khandu.

He further quoted, "with the presence of J. P. Nadda sahab and Rajnath Singh ji, the political ambience of Arunachal will become more positive".

He called on citizens to support the BJP for comprehensive development initiatives. Khandu also condemned recent violence in Namsai, emphasizing that such acts have no place in democratic elections. He urged law enforcement agencies and the election commission to take strict action against those responsible for violence, asserting that the BJP stands against the culture of using money, religion, or clan affiliations in politics.

"BJP doesn't believe in money culture, BJP doesn't believe in religious politics, BJP doesn't believe in planned politics, says CM Khandu.
