Arunachal Police conducts outreach event, addresses stakeholders' grievances

The Arunachal Pradesh Police conducted a community outreach programme in Niti Vihar and held a mass awareness meeting for stakeholders, during which they shared their grievances with the police.

The programmae was led by Deputy SP Kengo Dirchi, SDPO Itanagar and Inspector T Tasso OC Niti Vihar PS, Itanagar police. 

During the programme, foot patrolling started from Punchali to Kola Camp, Niti Vihar covering 4 km along  with concerned ward members and youth. All sensitive and hotspot areas of Niti vihar were sensitised and inspected including Mahatma Gandhi Park, Niti Vihar.
  
A mass awareness meeting was conducted at Mahatma Gandhi Park and Niti Vihar where all stakeholders shared their grievances with the police and exhorted the youth to stay away from drug menace and refrain from indulging in any dirty thing within the premises of the park.

SDPO Kengo Dirchi expressed gratitude to the ward members and youth for active participation in this effort and briefed them on community policing. He further added that  constant support and cooperation from the public is necessary to keep a check on crimes and criminal cases in the area.
