Arunachal: Tirap witnesses surge in development efforts under present MLA, residents hail leadership

Tirap District of Arunachal Pradesh has witnessed significant development under the leadership of Wanglin Lowangdong, the MLA representing Bogapani Borduria 57 LAC constituency. Local residents attest to the transformation that has taken place in the hilly terrain, spanning over two decades of his tenure.

Since assuming office, Lowangdong has spearheaded various initiatives, including the establishment of schools, implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission, construction of infrastructure such as roads, and addressing the long-standing issue of unemployment. The Circle office stands as a testament to the administrative progress achieved under his stewardship.

A notable aspect of Lowangdong's political journey is his transition from the Indian National Congress (INC) to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). This move has garnered significant support, with over 3000 voters from Bogapani Borduria 57 LAC joining the BJP, citing their desire for change and development.

The villages of Chasa and Longo have particularly witnessed substantial growth, among the 18 villages comprising Bogapani Borduria 57 LAC. With a total of 10,000 voters in the constituency, the shift towards the BJP reflects a broader sentiment of optimism and aspiration for progress.

“We are the old residents here and the ones who created the foundation here. It's been 20 years and development has increased manifold. In the coming years more such initiatives will come and see more success in future” says one of the local residents of the place.
