The projects were inaugurated in the presence of local MLA Tenzin Nyima Glow and included badminton halls at Bhalukpong and Thrizino, four-unit residential quarters at both locations, an auditorium at the Government Secondary School in Thrizino, a new office building for the Assistant Commissioner at Bhalukpong, school and hostel infrastructure, and a nunnery hostel-cum-conference hall at Rangapara in Assam.

Addressing the gathering, Khandu said the projects reflected the State government's commitment to improving educational facilities, promoting sports and enhancing public infrastructure. He expressed confidence that the initiatives would benefit students, youth, government employees and local communities.

Glow thanked the Chief Minister for his continued support to the development of the 6-Thrizino-Buragaon Assembly constituency. He said the constituency had witnessed significant progress under the present government and expressed hope for the implementation of more developmental projects in the future.

Representatives of the Greater Kameng Badminton Association (GKBA), including president Aju Khonjuju and general secretary Rinchin Neema, welcomed the inauguration of the badminton facilities. They underscored the importance of establishing quality badminton infrastructure across districts and circle headquarters to encourage sports among young people.

According to GKBA officials, the newly inaugurated badminton hall at Bhalukpong has four international-standard courts, while the facility at Thrizino houses two courts. They said the infrastructure would help nurture local talent and provide better training opportunities for aspiring players.
